We're looking for a proactive and experienced People Operations Lead / People Partner - Operations to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering a world-class employee experience, driving operational excellence across our people processes, and supporting our managers and team members in Australia and New Zealand to thrive.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role - perfect for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about enabling great people experiences through systems and processes.
🚀 Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations matters - including performance, conduct, grievances, and general manager support - ensuring issues are handled fairly and in line with policy.
- Maintain and update our suite of people policies and procedures; create new ones as required to ensure we remain compliant and aligned with best practice.
- Oversee and deliver operational HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, leave, and benefits administration.
- Manage and roll out our engagement surveys, peer touchpoint reviews, and ad-hoc people surveys; support reporting and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate our PD session rhythm, tracking completion and ensuring all managers are applying our Capability Framework effectively.
- Support performance management processes and ensure documentation and actions are consistent and timely.
- Maintain tools and systems to track and report on manager and team effectiveness.
- Manage the delivery of our People Leader training and help evolve it over time to meet manager needs.
- Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for new starters to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.
- Manage accurate and compliant payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand, working closely with Finance and our payroll providers.

- Have 5+ years of HR generalist or operations experience, ideally across both Australia and New Zealand
- Be confident managing payroll, HR systems, and compliance requirements
- Bring hands-on experience with employee relations and advising managers on day-to-day people matters
- Be a process-driven person who thrives on detail, documentation, and doing things right
- Be confident coordinating surveys, PD check-ins, and operational rhythms across the business
- Love helping others - whether that’s guiding managers through a tough conversation or onboarding a new hire
- Be proactive, efficient, and happy to get stuck into the work that keeps things running smoothly
Bonus points for the following:
- Exposure to leadership or compliance training facilitation
- Experience being self-employed (freelancing, contracting etc) in any industry/profession
