Hnry is on the lookout for a curious, creative, and hands-on Design Intern to support the growth of the Hnry brand.

You’ll be joining the Brand Team, which sits within Hnry’s Marketing team. We’re responsible for protecting the strategic direction of the Hnry brand, keeping it sharp and consistent, and creating world-class advertising collateral that fuels our growth across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.

This is a learning-focused role, where you’ll get exposure to a wide range of design work across brand, marketing, and web.

We’re not looking for years of experience, but we do want a great communicator, creative thinker, and someone with an appetite to consistently make great work. You’ll be comfy getting your hands dirty, working at pace, changing direction quickly, and you’ll live and breathe the Hnry brand.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the Brand Team, working with our designer to create on-brand static graphics for web, social, product, and marketing.
• Help maintain our brand asset libraries, templates, and documentation.
• Export, format, and optimise assets for web, print, and digital channels.
• Ensure designs across all touchpoints follow brand guidelines.
• Join brainstorms and creative reviews, contributing ideas and feedback.
• Assist with testing creative variations and iterating based on results.
  • Apply accessibility best practices in design.
• Help keep processes, templates, and guides up to date.
• Bring a fresh perspective and creative ideas to the table.

🫵 You will:

• Have studied design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Be proficient with tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Have strong design chops, and a genuine interest in brand.
• Be organised, eager to learn, and happy to pitch in wherever needed.
• Feel comfortable working at pace, taking feedback, and giving things a go.

Bonus points for the following:

• Motion/animation experience.
• Any freelance, side hustle, or creative project work.
